Hello! Ahh, it feels great to be back on this blog. When I first created "Unwrapping the Present", I was only 13. Now, with two more birthdays under my belt, I'm determined to continue with this blog for much longer. Wish me luck!

Even though it's July 3rd, Independence Day celebrations are in full swing at my house. My backyard is the place to be today, especially once sodas and my red, white, and blue cupcakes decorate the deck's table. Mom has recently finished building two rock walls to surround her gardens, and Dad also finished his from-scratch deck. Our backyard has gone from dirty and weird to beautiful and lush. Once I finish decorating with stars and stripes galore, I'll make sure to post some pictures. Have a wonderful July Fourth!
