Youth Group

Yesterday, the second graders at our school received First Holy Communion! I was there, but wasn't at the Mass because I was helping at the nursery. Luckily, I did get to see a few of the girls in their beautiful dresses. The gym, where they were having the mass, was decorated with white drapery everywhere and flowers. It looked like a wedding. I didn't get any pictures though. :-(

I'm going to a high school youth group party today; I'm going to join the youth group as soon as possible. My teacher said that if 20 of our 8th graders go to the party, we won't have a religion exam! That means no one can stay home- 2 people in our class aren't Catholic and one boy's going to be out of town. Let's pray 20 kids make it. :-)
