Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!

Generally, I'm more of a trend setter than a follower, but I've decided to do one of those "10 Things" posts like everyone else.


10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT THE INTERNET

1. People can type things that they would never say aloud, resulting in many hurt feelings and anger.
2. Immoral, horrible sites and images are uploaded at a constant rate.
4. True friendship is being degraded into a number of friends on facebook.
5. Hours are wasted when playing mind-numbing games on the Internet.
6. Sites are so unsafe and you're always weary about what will pop up on the screen next.
7. Chain messages, horoscopes, and letters that start with "If you don't pass this on..." frequently clog your email inbox.
8. It seems that nothing has consequences- you write something cruelly but anonymously, and you never get blamed.
9. No one seems to feel the need to use proper English, and hardly anyone uses punctuation.
10. You're always being badgered with sales and the newest thing that you need.


10 THINGS I LOVE ABOUT THE INTERNET

1. You can really learn about the Church and Her teachings.
2. Information is at your fingertips on any subject.
3. It is easy to convey important messages to others.
4. Some sites are just fun and amusing, and you can play games as much as you want.
5. You can learn everything about Nero, analyze it, write an essay about it, and cite it all using a few programs.
6. Music is available, and lyrics are easy to find.
7. You can zone out and forget petty arguments.
8. E-cards are sooo fun to send and receive!
9. It's a wonderful way to send pictures to far away relatives.
10. The Internet is convenient, helpful, and fun!
