To make a Sock Baby, follow my steps for success! By the way, I created the technique and it's my own idea. They're ADORABLE!!!!

Step 1: You need stuffing, two rubber bands, a sock, and some permanent markers. A hot glue gun isn't necessary, but it helps.

Step 2: Stuff the sock a little over half way (not above the heel) and tie off with a rubber band.

Step 3: Stuff more to make the head. The heel needs to be above the rubber band, so the top part is very uneven.

Step 4: Fold the top over the head to make a cap. The heel will cover the whole back of the head.

Step 5: Mark around the rim of the cap and then unfold it. The markings will help you see where to color in the hair. Draw a face and hair around the head.

Step 6: Fold the cap over again and color the brim and top.

Step 7: Optional: Hot glue the cap to the head; beads for earrings and buttons. Cloth makes a cute scarf, and I always line the bottom of the sock with permanent marker.
I hope you will make one! Have fun!
Bye bye,
Lily

By the way Lily, I'm missing some socks....Oh! I get it!!! At least it's for a good cause...what we do for our babies. Sock babies, that is.
Love,
mom
I just tried that with my friend!!! They are cute, but mine is kinda falling apart.....
Yes I have read all the Harry Potter books and they are really good! But I just finished Twilight and I like it a bit more! The Tales Of The Beedle and The Bard are really good!
Neat! Yeah the Twilight books are great and The Tales of the Beedle and the Bard looks really good, too.
