High Museum in Atlanta

Extra! Extra! Read All About It! Lily went to the High Museum of Art in Atlanta yesterday! Extra! Extra!
That's right folks- my own two eyes witnessed everything from an optical illusion glass house to two thousand year old terracotta warriors to Michelangelo artwork. And where's the only place where you can see all these spectacular sculptures, paintings, vases, and bicycles? (Yes, I said bicycles.) The High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Georgia. It was unbelievably beautiful, and everything there was just remarkable.

I wasn't allowed to take pictures in the room with the terracotta army (wow those soldiers are just unreal) but I bought a postcard for my teacher so here's a picture of that.

Outside of the museum, there was a glass house that just took every belief in my mind and twisted it into confusion. The house looked flat, glass; just a neat sculpture. But then, keep walking, and the house starts almost moving and your head can't quite process and you start thinking that the house is actually made of four glass walls and a roof and a four-sided glass chimney. Keep walking and suddenly the middle point of the house juts out behind the rest of the house to make a right angle. Oh my gosh it was so trippy and crazy.

...and looking from the other side...

I had a wonderful time.
